PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately display a photographed image although the width of color gradation becomes narrow. SOLUTION: A CPU 42 detects the degree of color saturation of RGB signals and reduces the dynamic range of U and V signals based on the detected degree of saturation where a YUV signal for display is to be generated based on the RGB signal of an object image being photographed by a CCD imager 14, thus including many colors based on the U and V signals within a color reproduction range of a motor 30. |
