PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk record reproducing device that can record a signal to a disk with a laser beam irradiated by an optical pickup. SOLUTION: The optical disk record reproducing device is structured so that a laser output can be set by recording a test signal to a trial writing area placed on the disk, where the test signal is recorded by varying the laser output to the trial writing area and then the laser output is set by recognizing the record characteristics of the recorded signal. |
