PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium capable of reliably preventing the peeling of a reflecting film and the deterioration (oxidation) of the reflecting film by a change with age. SOLUTION: A reflecting film 5 and a protective film 6 are stacked in order on the surface 3a of a substrate 3 with a spirally formed pit array, the thickness of the reflecting film 5 is made gradually small toward the peripheral edge 3b of the substrate 3 and made nearly zero at the peripheral edge 3b, and the protective film 6 is directly formed on the peripheral part 3c of the substrate 3. |
