PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for monitoring facilities that can totally discriminate a plurality of facility states able to take particular states. SOLUTION: The method and system for monitoring facilities that supervises states of a plurality of facilities included in a prescribed system includes a state conversion step of detecting an operating state defined for one or a plurality of components of each facility by each facility, converting the detected operating state of each component into any of logic states defined in advance by the prescribed system and a step of displaying the logic state of each component obtained by the state conversion as a monitoring result of the facility including each component.
