DIGITAL BROADCAST RECEIVER AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast reception device which improve the convenience for a user by giving relationship to past program contents to preserve them so that required program contents can be easily retrieved, and to provide its control method. SOLUTION: In a state where received program contents are updated, program contents on a storage medium 14a are save in a contents saving part 17 together with link information which makes them correspond to the updated program contents. Previous program contents corresponding to program contents stored on the storage medium 14a are retrieved from the saved contents on the basis of link information.
