摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a radio terminal and to efficiently and stably perform communication between first and second radio communication networks and the radio terminal without making a system configuration complex. SOLUTION: This radio communication system has an MMAC(multimedia mobile access communication system) network 1 and a PHS(personal handy- phone system) network 2. An SV(server) 5, an FA(foreign agent) 6, on HR(hybrid router) 7, a DS(data storage) a and HA(home agent) 9, are connected to the MMAC network 1, a CS(cell station) 10 is connected to the PHS network 2, and the MMAC network 1 and the PHS network 2 are connected through HASs(hybrid access servers) 11. A PS(personal station) 3 is provided internally with an MMAC communication circuit and a PHS communication circuit. Since an information transmission request to the PS 3 is transmitted to the PS 3 through the PHS network 2 in the case of transmitting information form the SV 5 to the PS 3, the PS 3 does not have to feed a power supply voltage to the MMAC communication circuit before receiving the transmission request so that the power consumption of the PS 3 can be reduced.
