PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PCI(peripheral components interconnect) bus bridge circuit, capable of effectively using a PCI bus and also preferentially performing a transaction having high priority, and to provide a transaction control method. SOLUTION: In the case a transaction from a PCI bus 114 which cannot be performed because the other bus 113 is being used, a transaction waiting for being performed is stored in a transaction storage block 105, a new transaction request from an agent on the PCI bus 114 is received, the PCI bus 114 can thereby be used efficiently, transaction contents are analyzed by a transaction analysis block 103, so that the sequence of transactions to be performed is changed, on the basis of agent priority transaction priority.
