PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compatible processing circuit meeting extension of a memory and functions by small-scale structure. SOLUTION: When a compatible instruction signal S2b to indicate the extension is inputted, data S2a for setting extended functions is outputted as data S15a as it is via an AND circuit 33. In addition, address data formed by synthesizing pieces of data read from registers 22 and 23 is outputted as data S15b. When a compatible instruction signal S2b to indicate compatibility is inputted, the data S2a for setting the extended functions is masked and outputted as the data S15a by a mask processing of the AND circuit 33. In addition, address data read from a register 24 is outputted as the data S15b.
