PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable operators to appropriately communicate with each other. SOLUTION: The remote supervisory control system has a plurality of supervisory control terminals 4-1, 4-2 having web browsers 41-1, 41-2 and a control server 2 that controls a supervisory control object device 1. The control server 2 is provided with a server side supervisory control section 22 for applying supervisory control to the supervisory control object device 1, a server side communication section 23 that makes contact with the supervisory control terminals 4-1, 4-2 in cooperation with the server side supervisory control section 22, and a WWW server 21. The WWW server 21 transmits/receives information to the web browsers 41-1, 41-2 via the server side supervisory control section 22, which exchanges information with terminal side supervisory control sections 42-1, 42-2 that transmits a control command on the basis of an instruction entry by an operator, and a server side communication section 23 in cooperation with the terminal side supervisory control sections 42-1, 42-2 makes mutual contact with terminal side communication sections 43-1, 43-2 via other supervisory control terminals.
