FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves using hollow plastic pipes extending lengthwise and crosswise of hotbed or greenhouse; heating portion of longitudinal pipe where pipe connection is supposed to be fixed till pipe material is imparted plastic state; making cuts at diametrically opposite sides of pipe and inserting mandrel; holding mandrel in pipe until hardening of pipe material; withdrawing mandrel from formed opening of connection member. Connection member for hotbed or greenhouse is formed as cross joint at longitudinal and transverse pipes intersection point and made integral with longitudinal pipe equipped with opening formed by means of mandrel inserted into cuts, said opening having diameter equal to diameter of transverse pipe. Connection member has outer projections formed upon withdrawal of mandrel. Connection member used in construction of hotbed or greenhouse has mandrel of diameter at least equal to diameter of transverse pipe. Length of cut for insertion of mandrel is equal to at least 1.5 the diameter of transverse pipe. Arced members are mounted on supporting members, which are buried into ground.
