The post (1) has a spike (3) at the bottom which may be driven into soft ground. A spring (2) connects the spike to the post so that it may be knocked down, e.g. by wind pressure and may spring up again when the pressure is eased. The display sheet (9) may be a textile and has cords (7) at the top and bottom engaging in C-section horizontal spars (8) held by cords and a block-and-tackle arrangement with hooks (5,6). There is an elastic cord (12) running from the top of the display sheet to the bottom.
