PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a lithium secondary battery, having high capacity and superior charging/discharging cycle characteristics, in the electrode 3 for the lithium secondary battery formed by stacking thin films 3a comprising mainly silicon on a current collector 3b. SOLUTION: At least one element among group elements of the group IIIa, group IVa, group Va, group VIa, group VIIa, group VIII, group Ib, and group IIb [excluding copper (Cu)] in the 4th period, the 5th period, and the 6th period in the periodic table is contained, in at least the surface of the thin film 3a comprising mainly silicon. |
