<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for FPC/FFC with zigzag contacts efficient for insert or pull-out for enabling insert or pull-out of FPC/FFC with a small stroke of a straight slider. SOLUTION: Among the zigzag contacts of the connector for FPC/FFC, protrusion of a flexible contact leg of near side contacts into a slot is set to be shorter than that of a flexible contact leg of back side contacts, and for a pressing wall of the slider, its end thickness supporting the flexible contact leg of the back side contacts is set to be thinner than its rear side thickness supporting the flexible contact leg for of the near side contacts.</p> |
