PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive, which can suppress the increase of a motor temperature by effectively dissipating heat generated by a coil. SOLUTION: The motor drive comprises a shaft supported so as to rotate freely, magnets fixed to the shaft integrally and generating magnetic fields, coils provided on the outer periphery of the magnets via gaps formed in-between, a hollow stator core arranged in such a way that the outer periphery of the coils are fixed to the inner diameter of the stator core so as to close a magnetic circuit which the stator core forms with the magnets, and a housing, to which the stator cores are fixed, for securing the rigidity of the whole of the motor. The housing is provided with windows on the side, wherein heat dissipating plates are arranged so that the heat dissipating plates sandwiches the outer periphery of the stator cores via windows. |
