PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disc drive that makes a stabilized operation with a pickup small in unit movement. SOLUTION: This optical disc drive that moves the information recording/ reproducing pickup with a stepping motor against an optical disc in its radial direction is provided with a drive current generator for the stepping motor, and a switch to change the generated drive current to a current reduced by the predetermined ratio (1/K) after the predetermined time (T2 ). |
