PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network-adaptive microwave oven system which enables even a user who is not familiar with a personal computer, a PDA, etc., to easily use cooking data on the Internet. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with an interface unit 2 including a communication control part having a function of converting a communication protocol used for the Internet 5 into a communication protocol that a microwave oven 1 is adapted to, a dial-up connecting function by PPP, and a communication function for a network 5 and a data transmission part which transmits and receives data through a public network 8, and the microwave oven 1 has a Web browser function of processing HTML data and a function of communicating with the interface unit 2. This system is connected to the Internet 5 to browse contents from a server 6 and download cooking data to the microwave oven 1. |
