<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism and a method for flat wire connection enhancing electrical and mechanical reliability in connection between a flat wire and its connecting member when connecting the flat wire with a circuit board as well as making the connecting section smalled. SOLUTION: In this flat wire connection mechanism, flat wire 1 is connected with a circuit board 7 through both a wire connector 3 attached to the flat wire 1 and a board connector 5 secured to the circuit board 7. The flat wire 1 is fixed to a housing 3a of the wire connector 3 with adhesive or by welding. Its fixed position is located inner aparts from an electrical connector position where a linear conductor 11 of the flat wire 1 is electrically connected with a conductive member 3b of the wire connector 3 by soldering, etc., in a lengthwise direction of the flat wire 1.</p> |
