<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a judging apparatus for anomaly in motor drive circuit, which is simply constituted and is capable of judging an anomaly in a motor even when the motor is not driven. SOLUTION: The judging apparatus comprises a first switch means (relays MR1-a and MR1-b) for opening and closing an upstream circuit which connects an motor MT to a power supply and a second switch means (relay MR2) for opening and closing a downstream circuit which connects the motor to ground. The judging apparatus is provided with a first resistor (Ru) which is connected in parallel with the first switch means and the motor and a second resistor (Rd) which is connected in parallel with the second switch means. Alternatively, the first resistor is connected in parallel with the first switch means, and the second resistor is connected in parallel with the second switch means and the motor. The potential (Vmt ) at the junction point between the first resistor and the second resistor is monitored, and the potential at the junction point is compared with a specified threshold value. According to the result of the comparison, an anomaly in the drive circuit for the motor is judged.</p> |
