PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor structure coping with miniaturizing and higher performance of a claw pole type stepping motor. SOLUTION: The claw pole type stepping motor comprises stators and a rotor. The stators constitute magnetic circuits of coils 6, stator yorks 2, 3 which are made of soft-magnetism steel plates, and a row of teeth 4. The rotor magnet rotates while opposed to a row of teeth of the above stators. The coils are arranged in the axial direction at both sides of the rotor magnet. The rotor magnet and the coils are constituted so as to laminate in the axial direction. A row of teeth are arranged from the stator yorks which contain the coils, with a gap, along the outer periphery of the rotor magnet.
