PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thickness and weight of a keyboard. SOLUTION: The keyboard comprises a membrane sheet, a plate and frame which sandwich the membrane sheet to provide rigidity to it, and an actuator which, attached to the upper surface side of the frame, accesses a switch part formed at the membrane sheet through an opening formed at the frame by way of a keytop, so that the switch part transmits the contact point signal. The frame and the plate are formed of the thin plate of aluminum, and a plurality of through holes are formed at the membrane sheet. A plurality of trapezoidal projections penetrate the plurality of through holes from the plate toward the frame, and the surface contact parts between the plurality of trapezoidal projections and the frame are welded.
