PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system, with which a pattern can be plotted easily to watch on a background picture almost without loading burden to a CPU. SOLUTION: This system has a CPU (1), a plotting control part (8) and a frame buffer (FBM) and in response to a plotting command from the CPU, the plotting control part blends second data to first data with the gradation specified for the unit of pixel by ratio data on the basis of the ratio data specifying the pattern over a plurality of gradations for the unit of pixel, first data specifying the background of the pattern and the second data specifying the unit color of the pattern and writes obtained data back to the frame buffer. Notches on the boundary of the pattern and the background does not become conspicuous by blend processing according to the ratio data. For blend processing, it is enough for the CPU just to apply the command and the ratio data so that burden can be reduced.
