摘要

FIELD: attachments for cutting off steel ropes. SUBSTANCE: rope cutter includes jointly connected levers of first link on long arms of which handles are rigidly mounted and jointly connected one with another levers of second link whose long arms are joined with short arms of levers of first link. Short arm are in the form of jaws having insert-cutters with cross grooves. Insert-cutters are mounted with possibility of their arrangement by mirror fashion when handles are wholly open and with possibility of their shifting in mutually opposite directions along circle when handles are in mutual contact position. Such design prevents possibility of rope bending at initial time moment of applying cross effort to cut-off rope and eliminates entrapment of separate non-cutoff filaments between jaws. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability and efficiency of rope cutter, possibility of operative readjustment of insert-cutters. 2 cl, 5 dwg
