The device for the storing and feeding of flat objects consists of a pallet roller system (11) which has a frame in which are installed two extending sliding trays (12-19). A portal arrangement (20) which is movable at least on one side has a gripper unit (24) with suction cups or a magnetic element which receives the flat objects supported in the pallet roller system and delivers these to a further processing machine. The portal has two running rails between which a crane can move in to lay the flat objects in the pallet roller system.
