METHOD FOR MYONEURAL ELECTROSTIMULATION AND ELECTROSTIMULATOR

The invention relates to medicine, in particular to methods and means for preventive physiotherapy. The inventive electrostimulation is carried out by totally immersing the human body or a part thereof in water. The level of stimulating action is regulated by a patient by modifying a distance between the stimulated part of the body and an electrostimulator. The inventive stimulator is embodied in the form of a portable device which comprises a hermetical body provided with plate electrodes arranged on the opposite sides thereof and equipped with a handle for holding said stimulator by the patient. Said invention makes it possible to obtain a high efficiency of physiotheropetical effect, to provide simplicity and comfortability of procedure and total electrical safety, thereby making it possible to be used for home physiotherapy. The test of the inventive device confirms a high electromassage and psychomotional effect comparable with a hydromassage effect.
