PURPOSE: A method for inserting an image in real time in broadcasting images is provided to change a broadcasting screen by inserting desired images, motion pictures, or 3D objects at desired positions as if the inserted images are really existing in the broadcasting screen. CONSTITUTION: A method for inserting an image in real time in broadcasting images includes searching a position of a marker on the basis of input images and camera motion information(200), searching an insertion area by the correlation between the marker area and an insertion area on the basis of the searched marker(210), determining whether the insertion area is in a frame(220), controlling the size and distance of an image to insert by the position information of the insertion area and broadcasting image information(230), determining whether any foreground factors on the image to insert by comparing the insertion area with the image of a broadcasting area(240), synthesizing the image with the broadcasting image to transmit(250), and operating and storing camera motion information by motion information of the marker in current and previous frames(260).
