METHOD FOR PREPARING MOISTURE ADSORBENT USING DOLOMITE (OR LIME) AND CALCIUM CHLORIDE (OR MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE) AND MOISTURE ADSORBENT PREPARED THEREFROM

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a moisture adsorbent using dolomite (or lime) and calcium chloride (or magnesium chloride) and the moisture adsorbent prepared therefrom is provided. The moisture adsorbent has excellent absorptivity of more than 80% and long durability with no water release during usage. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of crushing dolomite or line to a particle size of 0.5 to 3.0 mm in diameter; calcining it in a calcining furnace at 400 to 700 deg.C for activation; and mixing the crushed dolomite or lime with calcium chloride or magnesium chloride at a ratio of 7 to 9: 3 to 1.
