<p>The present invention relates to a novel proto-oncogene Human Cervical Cancer 2 (HCC-2) that is non-homologous to existing oncogenes and the protein encoded by the oncogene. This novel proto-oncogene can be advantageously used in diagnosing various cancers; in construction of transformed animals; and in anti-sense gene therapy.</p> |
