<p>A clutch engagement detector capable of accurately detecting the engaged state of a clutch using a helical spline-fitted structure and a uniaxial combined plant having the detector, the clutch engagement detector wherein, when a difference between a detected gas turbine speed value and a detected steam turbine speed value is reduced to a detection error or below within a specified time after a load is applied to a steam turbine, the clutch is judged to be engaged, and when the detected steam turbine speed value surpasses the detected gas turbine speed value by a specified speed (α) or more or when the detected steam turbine speed value lowers less than the detected gas turbine speed value by a specified speed (β) or more after the clutch engagement is detected, the clutch is judged to be abnormal, or the steam turbine rotating pulses are counted every specified number of the gas turbine rotating pulses and deduction or addition is performed based on the counted values to provide the relative rotating angle of the steam turbine to the gas turbine so as to detect the engagement of the clutch.</p> |
