Door comprises separate rectangular plate elements (3) horizontally aligned with their long sides and inserted with their short sides in lateral guide rails (1, 2). When the door is closed the plate elements stand vertical to each other and when the door is opened they are stacked parallel to each other in a magazine section near the lintel of the door. On closing the door a tension cord lifts the lowermost plate element or a cord strip together with the above-lying plate elements. At least one curved section (6) having drip edges (6b) is provided at the bottom of the plate elements on the outward-facing side. Preferred Features: A chamfer (7) is arranged on the upper side (3b) of the plate elements below the curved section.
