摘要 PURPOSE: A structure for mounting a height adjusting apparatus of a seat belt is provided to absorb impact energy by changing a guide plate and a spacer shapes in order to protect a passenger's head portion. CONSTITUTION: A height adjusting apparatus comprises a guide plate and a spacer(40). A through hole is formed at an upper end of a guide plate and an inserting protrusion(36) is formed at a lower portion thereof. A protrusion(36') for fixing is formed at an end portion of the inserting protrusion(36). The inserting protrusion(36) is inserted at a B-pillar inner panel and fixed at the protrusion(36') for fixing. Both side ends(32') of the guide plate are formed in a semicircle shape. At assembling, the spacer(40) is approached at the inserting protrusion(36). Circular flanges(44,46) are formed at both sides of the spacer(40). A body(42) is inserted at the inserting protrusion(36) formed at the lower end of the guide plate, and both ends of the flanges(44,46) are contacted at the B-pillar inner panel(14) and the guide plate(30).
