METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETERMINING THE SPATIAL GEOMETRY OF A CURVED EXTRUDED PROFILE

The invention relates to a method and a device for determining the spatial geometry of a curved extruding profile which is held in the area extending along the first linear central axis (A) of the extruded profile in a feeder unit and fixing unit and which is curved by means of a bending device at a given bending angle alpha , so that on one side of an area of the curved profile formed by said bending, the area of the first linear central axis (A) and an area on the opposite side with a second linear central axis (B) are connected to each other. The invention also relates to a corresponding bending device. The invention is characterised in that the spatial position of the second linear central axis (B) is determined in relation to the known spatial position of the first linear central axis (A) of the extruded profile, while the curved profile is maintained in a spatially fixed manner by the feeder and fixing unit and the curved area of the extruded profile is released from the bending device. The invention is also characterised in that the bending angle alpha is determined by the intersection of both axes, (A) and (B).
