The foot adaptor (30) for a user with deformed foot due to a femur defect has the leg tip (18) inserted into a recess in the top of the adaptor. The adaptor has an inner liner (28) which is shaped to receive the tip of the leg. The liner is L-shaped or U-shaped, with the front leg of the U being adjustable. The U-shape can have an angled section fixed to a central axis.
