<p>A bis(5-aryl-2-pyridyl) derivative represented by the general formula (1): (1) [wherein A represents an optionally substituted aromatic hydrocarbon group or optionally substituted aromatic heterocyclic group; and X represents a group selected among the following formulae (2) to (5): (2) (3) (4) (5) (wherein m in the formula (2) is a number of 1 or 2; n in the formula (3) is a number of 1 to 6; and R in the formula (4) represents hydrogen or lower alkyl and p is a number of 1 to 6)] or a salt of the derivative. The compound has excellent IgE antibody production inhibitory activity and is useful as a medicine such as a preventive/remedy for allergic immunopathy.</p> |
