A method of manufacturing a molded product, comprising the steps of providing a valve sleeve (56) for opening and closing a gate (35) on a fixed mold (21) side and fitting a core pin (81) installed on a movable mold (22) side into the valve sleeve (56) when the mold is closed to form the tubular gate (35) opening to a product cavity (23) at a position corresponding to an area around the hole part of the molded product, whereby, by the fitting of the core pin (81) to the valve sleeve (56), the valve sleeve (56) can be prevented from being misaligned against a resin pressure and, when the molded product having a hole part is manufactured, molding material can be filled uniformly into the product cavity to provide the molded product with high accuracy and high quality.
