The installation contains at least one monitoring sensor picking up the animals and at least one control member, generating a control signal indicating presence of an animal in the monitoring region. A transmitter transmits the control signal to a remote report signal generator, responsive to a control signal. The monitoring sensor is of a movement reporting type. The signal generator is fitted with at least one optical and/or acoustic report signal.
