<p>PURPOSE: A sequencing bath reactor for sewage and wastewater treatment is provided, which is characterized in that height-adjustable decanters are installed in each reaction tank to prevent overflow of sludge when decanting supernatant water. CONSTITUTION: The sequencing bath reactor for sewage and wastewater treatment comprises plural reaction tanks(10,30,50) set serially and having inlets (L1,L3,L5) respectively at the top and outlets (L2,L4,L6) respectively at the side and spaces of fixed volume to perform washing of sewage and wastewater; plural media(12,32,52) set inside the reaction tanks(10,30,50) to promote attached-growth of microorganism; plural agitators(14,34,54) for forcibly fluidizing sewage and wastewater to react with microorganism; plural discharge devices(20,40,60), the height of which is intendedly adjustable for preventing overflow of sludge, suspended solids, and microorganism and decanting only supernatant through the discharge line.</p> |
