PURPOSE: A valve assembly of compressor is provided to reduce abnormal noise on discharge of refrigerant by keeping opening height of a discharge valve fixed and securely fixing the discharge valve to a valve plate. CONSTITUTION: A valve assembly includes a valve plate(110) having a refrigerant outlet(112); a discharge valve(130) having one end fixed on the valve plate to open and close the refrigerant outlet; a keeper(140) having one end fixed on the valve plate together with the discharge valve and placed on the discharge valve to limit opening height of the discharge valve; and a bead(143) protrusively formed on a lower side of the keeper.
