A first surface with micrometric- or nanometric structuring contacts a first medium. They are adapted. A second, similarly-structured surface contacts a second medium. They are adapted. Preferred features: Structuring of the first surface is directional. It includes elevations, in the form of mutually-parallel ridges and depressions. Its elevations are flakey. Surfaces of the elevations and/or depressions are hydrophobic. Structuring of the second surface is directional; this confers self-cleaning functionality. Within its directionality, it has bumpy elevations. The second surface structuring is hydrophobic to ultraphobic. The first surface has two regions. The first is structured (and orientated). The second has a directional, additional micrometric surface structuring and its orientation includes a given angle with the orientation of the first. First and/or second surface structures are differently-sized. Any of the elevations may be flexible. The second surface has a structuring which is coarser than the second surface structuring. Further structuring variants based on the foregoing principles are detailed. Dimensions of the first surface structuring lie in the range 10 mu m to 1 mm, and of the second surface structuring, in the range 0.5 mu m and 1 mm. The second medium differs from the first. First and second surfaces form a common surface in which first and second structurings are arranged. The body is arranged as a slide, a slide support, slide box, vehicle bicycle carrier, vehicle load carrier, sports equipment, especially a bat and/or ball. At least one additional unit is attached to the slider, having the second surface structuring on its surface. The additional unit is a slider brake, slider binding, slider/binding/raising plate or a sliding element shoe.
