<p>A device for continuous manufacture of endless and tubular articles is disclosed. The device is a pipe-forming body (9) with an additional bearing element (19) not being any part thereof. Each of the individual segments (7) of the pipe-forming body and the additional bearing element (19) make a cycle of movement comprising a slow working stroke forward and an alternate quick return to the point of departure. When the pipe is being carried forward and off the pipe-forming body (9) by the segments (7) on their working stroke, the element (19) is not in contact with the inner surface of the pipe. When one of the segments (7) is on its return stroke, the element (19) on its working stroke comes in contact with the inner surface of the pipe. This results in the pipe being carried forward and off the pipe-forming body (9) by the rest of the segments (7) and the additional bearing element (19).</p> |
