HEADER AND TUBE ASSEMBLY METHOD OF HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: A method for assembling header and tube of heat exchanger is provided to securely join the tube. CONSTITUTION: A header(2) with a plurality of insertion holes(3) is placed on one side of a header tank(1) of a heat exchanger and assembled to the header tank. A plurality of tubes(4) are joined to the header. The insertion holes formed on the header are burred in direction opposite to inserting direction of the tubes so that protrusions of the insertion holes are formed outward. Clad is applied to the protrusions of the insertion holes and front ends of the tubes are expanded in advance. Expanded pipe parts(5) of the tubes are inserted to the protrusions of the insertion holes. The header tank, the header and the tubes are simultaneously brazed in a brazing furnace to be joined to each other.
