PURPOSE: An electrostatic discharge(ESD) protection circuit of a digital/analog composite mode integrated circuit is provided to protect a device in an input terminal of an analog/digital circuit unit from ESD stress by forming a protection circuit in the interface between a digital circuit and an analog circuit. CONSTITUTION: A digital circuit unit(20) controls a digital operation in response to an input signal applied form an input pad(10). The first inverter unit(30) inverts and outputs the signal applied from the digital circuit unit. The second inverter unit(70) inverts and outputs the output of the first inverter unit. An analog circuit unit(80) controls an analog operation in response to the output signal applied from the second inverter unit. A current control unit(40,50) forms a current path from the digital circuit unit to the analog circuit unit. A protection circuit unit(60) discharges electrostatic current applied form the input pad to a power supply terminal and a ground terminal, installed between the output terminal of the current control unit and the second inverter unit.
