Disclosed is a fixing assembly for fixing a wheel frame to bottom surface of a boot chassis of an in-line skate. The fixing assembly comprises a plate-shaped washer which has a plurality of sharp locking protrusions at its circumferential marginal region, and an annular flexure portion disposed between its central recess and its circumferential edge, a cap nut having a plate-shaped head fitted in the recess of the washer and a cylindrical shank, and a locking bolt screwed into an inner threaded portion of the cap nut. In accordance with the fixing assembly, the locking protrusions of the washer prevent rotation and displacement of the washer, and a pressure acting on the washer is evenly distributed throughout the washer by an increased contact surface due to elastic deformation of the annular flexure portion of the washer. By the simple fixing structure, productivity of skates are considerably enhanced. |
