PURPOSE: A lottery ticket sharing method is provided to enable a user to purchase a lottery ticket at a web site, to subscribe for a lottery ticket sharing group, and to distribute prize money to all the members affiliated at the lottery ticket sharing group if the user wins the prize money. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. First, a user purchases a lottery ticket at a web site(1). The user receives a lottery number from the web site(2), and applies for participation in a lottery ticket sharing group(3). The web site guides a group participation method and participation agreement contents to the user(4), and receives the group participation agreement from the user(5). The web site gives a participation permission to the user, and makes the group share the lottery number purchased by the user(6). The web site requests a lottery ticket issuer to check if shared lottery numbers win prize money(7), and receives a notification on winning lottery numbers and corresponding prize money from the lottery ticket issuer(8). The web site notifies all the group members of the winning lottery numbers(9), and requests the lottery ticket issuer to pay the prize money(10). The web site receives the prize money(11) and distributes it to all the group members(12).
