摘要

PURPOSE: A conjugate containing wheat germ agglutinin having the function of selectively recognizing melanoma cells and praecoxinF a is an ellagitannin derivative having tumor inhibiting activity is provided which can be effectively used as an anticancer agent against melanoma. CONSTITUTION: The conjugate of lectin and ellagitannin in a mole ratio of 1:1 to 1:10 specifically recognizes melanoma and inhibits the growth and metastasis of melanoma cells, wherein the lectin is characteristically wheat germ agglutinin and the ellagitannin is characteristically praecoxin.
