The arrangement has a cooling water channel unit (U) with a water pump (20), a thermostat housing (19) in the feed channel, whereby cooling water flows through the water pump and thermostat housing when fed from the radiator (16) to a water casing (12,14), a water outlet channel from the casing to the radiator and a bypass channel (P4) for feeding water from the casing to the thermostat housing past the radiator.
