PURPOSE: A top plate of household furniture which absorbs the electromagnetic wave is provided. The top plate has the layer absorbing 30% to 50% of the electromagnetic wave generated from the household appliances which are placed on it. CONSTITUTION: The top plate comprises a wood plate(2), a vinyl sheet with the design(3) sealed on the wood plate(2) and the absorbing layer of electromagnetic wave(4) between the wood plate(2) and the vinyl sheet with design(3). The absorbing layer is composed of an absorbing paint layer(4a) on one side of the vinyl sheet with design(3) and an adhesive layer(4b) on one side of the wood plate(2). The absorbing paint layer(4a) is coated with the paint which absorbs the electromagnetic wave comprising 20-30wt.% of copper powder, 60-70wt.% of solvent and 7-10wt.% of the inorganic materials while the adhesive layer(4b) is composed of 41% of EVA resin and 59% of water/solvent.
