PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing polyester extractive multi-filament which is characterized by having excellent alkali dissolution of dissolving ingredient, decreasing thermofusion, having excellent physical properties of grey yarn, lengthening a swapping period of a spinning filter and improving operating-capacity in post-process. CONSTITUTION: The polyester extractive multi-filament is comprised of a polyester ingredient dissolved in alkali and a polyester ingredient undissolved in alkali. The polyester ingredient dissolved in alkali is obtained by adding dimethyl isosulfonate sodium salt(DMIS), polyalkylene glycol(PAG) and crystal orientation inhibitor to terephthalic acid or ester derivative thereof and ethylene glycol(EG). The crystal orientation inhibitor is isophthalic acid(IPA) or ester derivative thereof, neo pentyl glycol(NPG), diacid compound having carbon-carbon single bond or a mixture thereof.
