PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize printing at an appropriate throughput for transfer material of various paper widths in LBP using ceramic heater. SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus, a multiple number of heating bodies of different widths, one temperature detecting means used when adjusting any of them and a means to detect the temperature of an end part of the heating body for each of the heating bodies for each width are provided.
