PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image fixing device capable of enhancing driving force for film and paper and also eliminating the curl of the paper. SOLUTION: This image fixing device has a ceramic heater (heating body) 1 and a pressure roller moving and driving the film 6 while bringing it tightly into press-contact with the heater 1 and making it slide on the surface of the heater 1, and the paper (material to be heated) P is introduced into space between the film 6 and the pressure roller at the press-contact nip part of the pressure member with the heater 1 press-contacting with it through the film 6 and moved to pass through the press-contact nip part together with the film 6 so as to impart the heat energy of the heater 1 to the paper P through the film 6. The device is provided with a 2nd pressure roller 3 driving the film 6 separately from the 1st pressure roller 2 pressuring and carrying the paper P and driving the film 6.
