PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obliquely-glued insulated joint rail for a 50 kgN rail or and a 60 kg rail, which greatly reduces the number of man-hours for machining, and does not have to be fastened to an exclusive tie by using an exclusive base plate and an exclusive washer. SOLUTION: A required adhesive area can be secured by adapting a cross-sectional shape of an insulating material 29 to stem shapes of paired tongue rails 27 and 28. The required adhesive area is secured on the side of the insulating material 29 without depending on the stem shapes of the tongue rails 27 and 28. The tongue rails 27 and 28 are manufactured from the 50 kgN rail, so as to dispense with shaping applied to the tongue rails 27 and 28 for the purpose of connection with the 50 kgN rail. A fastening member for the 50 kgN rail is used as it is as the fastening member for fixing the tongue rails 27 and 28 to the tie.
